Inspiration has a moment. A little like reaching a summit. A moment when there is no more climbing to do. When the journey to understand stops, and you realize that you can see clearly something that was obstructed.

And here’s the interesting thing about inspiration, you can’t stay on that summit. Life moves you on. Sooner or later you have to leave the peak. Get back at the hike. Begin a new search.

Inspiration also has a need. To be shared. Not everyone will see the view as you see it. But that shouldn’t stop the sharing. Left alone, inspiration loses its enthusiasm for blessing you. Share it, and the need of inspiration is fulfilled, and it will soon come back for another trip. It feeds on the moment. Rarely can it be found in the same place twice. I know because I’ve tried. It loves to surprise. Just when you least expect it, there it is. It’s a volunteer. It can’t be forced, but give it the right conditions, and it will always show up. Without fail.

This is part of the sharing. To give it away. Include others in the search and revelation. Come along…
